It’s February which means I do a huge spotlight on Black comic creators for #BlackComicsMonth, except this year I decided that I’m not going to do it. #BlackComicsMonth started a few years ago and it’s received so much notoriety and has done amazing things for Black comic creators and I’m extremely proud of the movement.
Dear White People,
I normally tweet when I’m looking for a collaborator on a comic project, just like I did a few days ago. When I’m looking for a collaborator it’s usually a marginalized creator – we don’t get many opportunities unlike straight, white men.

2016 closes out leaving me with such an overwhelming joyful feeling. (No, it’s not the Christmas spirit…that gives me gas.) December has been pretty amazing for me. Every Wednesday – minus the 21st – has been my comic book birthday.
Best of 2016 Comics List
It’s now time for the Best of 2016 Comics!!! Every comic site out there has been already posting their “best of” 2016 lists and AS USUAL it contains 98% white men. Hate to bust your bubble, but this isn’t going to be Tee’s Best of Comics list.
I’m not here to post my list for a few reasons: I hung up my comics journalist hat and I haven’t read that many comics this year.
Depression and Friendship
That’s me, in a nutshell. “I’m fine.” “Everything’s great.” I keep up appearances without letting anyone know the proverbial shit has hit the fan and I’m down in the dumps. Those who legit know me, know this routine of mine and they call me on my BS.
